Pranab Mukherjee .... honorable finance minister presented one lakh crore union budget for fiscal year 2009-10. what would be effect of saving few crores of rupees. The same part which is blamed to spent hundreds of crores in the election. There is ought to be a limit to political cynicism in this country. What was wrong in Tharoor and S M Krishna living in five star hotel. They were living on their own expenses . They are well known crorepatis. if it was so obnoxious for the party then why they were given tickets . They are the honorable foreign minister of this country . What is wrong in travelling in first class. Let them travel in comfort and perform the best in national interests . They are the top executives of our government. The crucial issue is minister should perform efficiently. If they perform well then they deserve some minimum standards. Whats wrong in awarding them?

If government is really serious then ...............why it is silence in swiss bank case? Indians have hoarded billions of dollars illegally in the swiss accounts . What about the illegal tax evasions and the corruption? Why there are so many minister ? If there is minister for social justice then what is need for separate ministry for minority affairs ?

This is a publicity drive for media attention.

We know well enough that if the farmers die -- as they are destined to -- and if tens of millions of peasants are going to be driven to their wits's end as the drought inexorably tightens its grip in the coming months, and when such unspeakable suffering and hunger stalk our land, our political class needs to demonstrate that they care.
